Do you live healthily in your house?
Even small quantities of moisture in the masonry can drastically make the air for living worse in the whole house. Independent of the fact whether the moisture is in the cellar or already in the living area, the air humidity unnoticingly but continually increases due to the moisture constantly evaporating from the masonry. From a medical point of view the ideal air humidity for a human has values between 40 and 45% according to information from the Product Testing Foundation (Stiftung
Warentest, source: "Wohnen ohne Gift"). Air humidity values of 55% or over are clearly too high and are to be considered unhealthy. The consequences from this can be: tiredness, headaches, problems with breathing and in especially critical cases problems with asthma and bronchial illnesses. Here children and eldery people are especially endangered. The air humidity is measured with modern digital precision measuring instruments, as used by the ATG in their examination of damage.
