Heating Costs: Are you paying too much for heating?
Winter in recent years has been expecially bitterly cold and many house owners still remember the high heating costs of this time with shock. A modern heating installation, new windows and a heat insulation on the facade can considerably lessen the heating costs. However the fundamental presupposition for a maximum saving of costs is an absolutely dry masonry, because moist brickwork needs almost double as much in heating energy as a dry one. With annual heating costs of averaging 1000.- € for a single detached house a good approximate of 250,- € can be saved yearly through a masonry drainage! Brickwork is dry: every year superfluous heating costs are saved! The expense for the drainage has already paid off in a few years time.
